Marick is pleased to announce that its charity of the year will be, Families of Autistic Children Together (FACT).

FACT is a charity run by families and friends of autistic children and relies on public support and donations to help people with autism and improve the world they live in, allowing the children to reach their true potential. It offers advice and an understanding ear to parents, relatives and carers. The charity also aims to involve professional bodies so they can teach different approaches to manage autism.

People with autism have said that the world, to them, is a mass of people, places and events which they struggle to make sense of. This causes them considerable anxiety particularly when trying to understand and relate to other people socially.

The Marick team are looking forward to organising and participating in charity events to raise as much money as possible to support the important work the charity does.
