It was a night of glitz and glamour for more than 100 guests at the Families with Autistic Children (FACT) charity ball at the Village Hotel, Ashton under Lyne.

An amazing opera singer, Carly Hopkinson, who is currently studying at the Royal Northern College of Music in Manchester, delighted the guests with her singing before bidding commenced on some great auction prizes donated by local Manchester companies.

Over £3000 was raised to help support the services FACT offer to its members.

Dallas Whittle, one of the FACT founders said: “I’m extremely grateful for the support we’ve received from our guests tonight. The money raised will go a long way to providing the care and advice to our members they desperately need.”
